NexYouth: Supporting Young Minds

Meet Our Founder

Driven by personal experience of mental illness during adolescence and the loss of both parents in 2022, our Founding Director brings over six years of national and local youth mental health advocacy experience. He has worked with organisations like Kent Police, Kent Youth County Council, YoungMinds, the Diana Award and the British Youth Council. Leaving law school with a renewed purpose, he founded NexYouth to create the kind of early support he needed but never had—for this generation and the next.

“I am committed to ensuring young people have access to the support my generation never had. NexYouth was built to be the support system I wish I had growing up."

Our Story

NexYouth was founded by Jordan Dighton, an experienced and passionate youth advocate who knows firsthand the gaps in mental health support for young people. Determined to make a difference, he created a youth-led organisation that prioritises early intervention and accessible support in his community. Located at Launch It Masters House since June 2024, the organisation has proudly been supported by the Launch It Trust. Jordan has since built a team based on lived experience, expertise and passion to making a difference.

Our Vision

“A future where every young person has access to the support they need, exactly when they need it.”

Our Mission

“To advance the mental health, wellbeing and life outcomes of young people aged 11-25 through accessible and early support provisions.”
