Our team brings together individuals with diverse backgrounds in youth work, mental health, education, and advocacy. Each person plays a vital role in shaping services that are inclusive, accessible, and informed by real experiences.

We believe in doing things with young people, not for them—and that starts with the people behind the scenes.

    My name is Karen Watson.  I am married with 3 children, the youngest is currently at University. 

    I have been a Swale Borough councillor for the last 2 and a half years and have been Mayor of Swale since last May. I have a history as a survivor of domestic violence and depression.  My mental health has been an ongoing battle for years. I am passionate about mental wellbeing especially for young people in our communities.  I feel youth mental health has been underesourced for too long. We need to make sure our young people have a voice because they matter so much and cannot be seen as a lost generation. 

Our Vision for the Future

We won’t stop until every young person feels seen, heard, and supported. By working together, we can create a future where youth mental health is a priority, and no one feels alone in their journey.
